Tour Plan

Day 1: SANTA CRUZ- CHURCH OF SAN JAVIER- CONCEPCIÓN- CHURCH OF CONCEPCIÓN- MUSEUM OF THE MISSIONS

By road from Santa Cruz to Concepción. The route passes through the picturesque villages of Cotoca, Pailas, Pailón and Los Troncos. You can stop to appreciate the scenery and take photos. Arrival at San Pablo. Visit to the oldest church built by the Jesuits (1691). The road continues as far as Concepción, an hour and a half further on and passes imposing granite formations in the middle of the jungle. Lunch. On arrival at Concepción and after a brief break there is a visit to the town's church, an authentic and very well preserved 18th Century jewel, as well as the Missions Museum containing wooden sculptures made by indigenous craftsmen for the church. You may take Mass if one is being said at that time. Dinner and overnight stay at a local hotel.

Day 2: SAN JAVIER- TRANSFER TO SANTA CRUZ

Transport back to Santa Cruz. Lunch in San Javier.
